The unknown victim

Though he wasn't wearing a brown paper bag on his head, a well dressed Italian man, about thirty-five years of age, was found Ninety-Seven years ago today with five bullet holes on his person but no identification. Was it a hit? Well, it wasn't a robbery because he was found with his gold watch and almost twelve bucks on him. In today's money that would be worth uh... uhm, well more than twelve bucks.
